Week 1
During this week I went to the city of Miami Florida, I stayed at the Hotel Real Intercontinental West Miami- I realy enjoyed it and had a pleasent time with my parents. After we returnes from every activity: mall, shoping center, and many other atractions; there were no restaurants open so what I had to do was order room service every day. I had to order my room-service in English demonstrating I knew, understood and practiced my English. This whole expermintal practice led me to realizing I have to practice my english more often,to become better at it and enjoy it.
Week 2
This week was so exhausting, my dad and I traveled to Los Angeles California. There we went to buy merchanndise for our department store Mendels were we have here all over Honduras. This was something big I had to speak in English to the person in charge of every company and sales representative . My dad taught me how to negotiate prices so I was able to help him get better prices and make a good deal. One of the biggest companies Mendel's buys from is Neman Brothers a company that sells textiles. There I met the owner of the company and spoked with him in English and had a great time negotiated and making some business. This helped a lot Mendels because scince i have a younger known of knwoledge I can know what will be better for the store and my dad will be ther to help me, but always parcticing my english.
Week 3
The worse week of my life i camed back from the US to my country Honduras. I was realy sad becaue i had a great time and had a enjoiable trip. So during this week i was sad so i went to buy fake movies, I saw karate Kid and i had so much fun seing it. I watched it in english so it was no problem to me because i understood and had a great time practicing my english by seing the movie.This movie is about a kid that his dad died when he was like 10 years old so her mom when he was 12 years decided to move to china and there he felt in love with a chinese girl but that was a problem because a kid beat him up so he did not longer wanted to be bothered so he asked a man called Han who taught him and maked him won the karate contest tournament. Seeing this movie send a mesagge that you do not have to be a coward and be perservirent and don't give up.
Week 4
This week was one of my best days ever. First, we went to Rome and had so much fun with my brothers and other family who went with us that are consider cousins. we had a great time in the plaza, via condoti, in a delicios resturant- we had so much fun having and enjoying the food, the waitres was italian but he understood english so every thing we ordered we had to say it in english so that was not a problem. We also went to the coleseum and the tour guy spoked english so we had entire atention to him and had a great time hearing and telling us everything about it. after we went to the coleseum we went to the THE VATICAN we saw the tomb of Juan Pablo II and as well we had to pay our entrance and ask it in english. Last but no least, we went to La Fontana di Trevo. were we had to make a wish and hopefully to become true, when we were siting beside the fountain we asked an american to take us a picture.
Week 5
I had the oportunity to go on a cruise ship of 2 weeks with one of my best friend Fernando sikaffy. The crusie line was called Celeberity and the boat was called Equinox. we stoped in many places, giving us a complete journey and happines. in the cruise every people spoked english i made friend with a philipean who cleaned my room every day we spoked and had many chats of our acticities and many other things; using my english helped me chat and make him my friend. we also stoped in santorini and mykonos greece where we had a lot of fun. every thing i bought i asked it in english. for directions, tickets, taxi , etc... this first week we met two britan girls that were beatiful i and felt i loved and had many chats and intive relations helping me by my english.
Week 6
After we went to santorini and Mykonos we went on board for 3 days on sea so every day we had so much fun ordering food plaing soccer basketball and many other activities, we made new friends we met a brazilian who looks just like a friend of us and we also met a new zeland guy that what he only thought was about kewee. When we were hungry we went to a retaurant were there we had a friend that she always gaved us food, cookies and cokes, she british so we had to order in english for what ever we wanted. After the 3 days we went down on athens that was the most beautiful thing i ever saw we went on the taxi and we told him in english to take us to the acropolis.
Week 7
We got off he cruise ship and aour journey back to honduras, but we stayed in London for 3 days, I had a lot of fun we went on the London eye and in order to get on we had to buy the tickets so we had to go to front desk and buy them my dad told me to buy them so as said i did and by using and practesing my english I bought the tickets.
Week 8
Back in Miami ready to go home to Honduras, but during this week i said lets go eat some and eat something helathy and delicios so I went to olive garden and ordered my food it was so delicios i ordered my food in english because that was what the waitres spoke and last but not least all of ths places helped me practice and expand my english.
